INDICATIONS

AIDVAC is used for the active immunisation of cattle, sheep, goats and camelids against enterotoxaemia, pulpy kidney disease, tetanus, gas gangrene, necrotic hepatitis, braxy, malignant oedema, blackleg, pasteurellosis and haemorrhagic septicaemia. Onset of immunity: 21 days after vaccination. Duration of immunity: one year.

COMPOSITION

Each vaccine dose contains a sufficient quantity of toxoid and inactivated culture to obtain at least: Clostridium perfringens (Type A, B, C and D)

  • Clostridium perfringens α toxoid: ≥ 4 UI / ml of rabbit serum
  • Clostridium perfringens ß toxoid: ≥ 10 UI / ml of rabbit serum
  • Clostridium perfringens ε toxoid: ≥ 5 UI / ml of rabbit serum
  • Clostridium septicum α toxoid: ≥ 2,5 UI / ml of rabbit serum
  • Clostridium novyi α toxoid (Type A, B): ≥ 3,5 UI / ml of rabbit serum
  • Clostridium tetani tetanus toxoid: ≥ 2,5 UI / ml of rabbit serum
  • Clostridium sordelli toxoid: ≥ 1 UI / ml of rabbit serum
  • Clostridium haemolyticum (Novyi D): ≥ 80 % protection in guinea pigs
  • Clostridium chauvoei: ≥ 90 % protection in guinea pigs
  • Pasteurella multocida serovars (A: 1,3 / B: 2,5 / D: 4): min 2 log10 protection in mice
  • Mannheimia haemolytica serovar A1: min 1 log10 protection in mice
  • Excipient: q.s. to: 1 dose
